Thanks. I'm sure they'll show up. I sort of packed a bit haphazardly, I'll admit. I was a bit pressed for time, and lot of things just ended up getting tossed into boxes at random and sealed up. I scribbled across the tops and sides of some of them, but other family members also packed boxes, and did not write on many of them. And so now the majority of our crap is in two different storage lockers. Which is where most of it will end up staying until we find a nice chunk of property to invest in.

Hah, I'll do that. :P Apologies about the span of the last missive, by the by. 'Twas rather lengthy and I hadn't noticed since I'd been starting and stopping as I'd replied, being called away from the keys a time or three. I only realized after hitting send. >_>

And now that you've mentioned lunch... I want that since the time for breakfast has come and gone without being addressed.

No worries on mail length.  I <3 long messages.  I'm waiting for the kidlet's naptime to reply.  Just try concentrating with a preschooler running around.  Go ahead, I dare you.
 
Lunch has been decided...LJS.  Because I want clams and shrimp.

Sometimes I can't even concentrate with the cat dancing around my room, getting into things, knocking shit over... there's no way I'm attempting it with a mini human wandering about. :P

I want all my friends to know that's a custard with sliced pears baked into it.  French call it Clafouti and it is a staple - morning, noon and night.  The link is to an almost trivial recipe.  The crust falls out of the batter.

Use blender for batter, let sit for 10 minutes so flour can absorb liquid, pour into quiche pan, add sliced pears and bake.

WOW!  Take that to a pot-luck and enjoy the compliments.  (Klaw - foo - tee)

ETA: Heavy whipping cream is up to $3.50 or even $3.75 a PINT ! ! !  Ouch!!!

I want buckets of cream.  I have the pears. LOL!
