I started one thread about Sarah Palin, and it was in regard to her emails being released. The OP had no opinion on it. I contributed no editorial to the OP, and I said over the course of the first couple of pages that there was nothing damaging in them

So, if you are insinuating that I have "constantly" started threads about Palin... that would be wrong.

I do think her conduct as governor is worthy of discussion. There is very little about Palin that I find to be worth discussing, but, like you, I enjoy watching certain people jump through hoops to defend her

In my eyes, she isn't even important.

I try to aspire to live up to certain ideals, and occasionally I find a certain quote that makes me think "hey, that would be a good way to be in the world"... by reading it all of the time, I hope my actions will follow. I never claimed to be perfect in every way, and those people who act as if their shit doesn't stink, and they are infallible, to the point of posting copious amounts of garbage science to evade that they do not know their ass from a hole in the ground... well those folks just reek hypocrisy in my mind

julia, I wasn't picking on you personally in this thread, and didn't say that you were the "one" posting constant threads about Palin.  You just had the perfect sig line for the response.

I meant just look at which side of the political divide constantly start the threads, and read the harsh language in them from all the sympathetic "me-too-ers".

Hell, as far as you believing that I have anything "special" for you, and am trying to attack you personally (because of Sinergy?  wtf?), I think you need a thicker skin.  In fact, you may remember in several threads a few months ago when you returned, we actually agreed and supported each other a few times.

It is a great quote and a good one to try to live by.  I've even found it to come in handy for a good zinger.
