Looking at this as a public safety official. In my state at least, a governor would receive more than subtle urging from state and local law enforcement to either move the event indoors, to some safer location, or cancel the affair altogether. Given protesters were there since last weekend, he obviously had ample time to make changes to the itinerary. Since he didn't, he obviously chose to place those young people in harms way. Shame on him. All evidence points to an opportunist seeking some kind of incident. What a damned shame.
