Yep, true Dutchman. Always making fun of the outsiders' accents. Ya know, dude, your English isn't exactly flawless, either. But it's cute.

So I guess lutefisk is out of the question? lol I was surprised to find recently that I actually like pickled herring. Took a little getting used to, but once I got used to it, I kept going back.

greedy, in general, I'm not either, and with the herring, the fishy part was still kind of funky for me, but there was something about that vinegary taste of the pickling juice....the more I ate of it, the more I wanted! lol

Bondaeggi - as bad as it looks.

Ceviche - heavenly.  Really.  Oh gosh - hot and sweet and spicy and cold and lots of lime (I love love love lime - it is probably my most favorite food flavor).

All right people - it's past my bedtime.  In the morning I expect to find amazing stories, wonderful food ideas, enough drool-worthy pictures to make me buy a plane ticket.
*smooches all around.

Me too sunshine. Honest to god on a hot summer day or night, some ceviche, an ice cold beer or glass of wine, done! Need nothing else. I love mine on something simple like a garlicky toast or even a saltine cracker, with a fresh lime slice squeezed on every one!! My favorite combo is shrimp and like a whitefish or tons of crab, but hey, I ain't picky on my seafood!
