I loved the turpin series, bit young to have been able to watch the early Prisoner but fantastic series, when I was allowed to watch and have it on DVD I also have a huge soft spot for the hammer movies,

They don't have that fast R&B haprsichord piece on the American version? That's a bit out of order... He's done all sorts of stuff. Scanners is another one. Lucy, don't get me wrong, I love a lot of the Hammer stuff, but that one had an impossible act to follow if you've seen the McGoohan version first... (I'll have to look to see if it's one of the films in the box set I have I've not got around to yet.)

It's well worth a look. More a thriller than a horror story, and a good cast for an early Cronenberg: Michael Ironside is in there as well. It also has that exploding head scene you've probably seen out of context a few times going for it...
