One of my best times was taking the train over to Haarlem and visiting the Ten Boom watch shop, which was the home and business of the Ten Boom family who were featured in the book "The Hiding Place". They helped out in the resistance by hiding Jews in their home during Nazi invasion, were caught and sent to concentration camps, though the Jews they hid were not found and survived. Corrie Ten Boom survived her stay at Ravensbruck and began a life of evangelism.....very cool story. The house is now open for tours, and is well worth the trip.

Not only food-invaded, we are invading Germany througout our whole borderline.
Speaking about war that is.....[;)]

The war was a terrible period in our history, but we are forgiving.
Nowadays our neighbours are welcome on our national memorial day.

Life is al about forgiveness and understanding one another.

And Win? There are more places of rememberance this black period.
The city I was born in, was f.i. bombed by the Germans and I even have a joke about that occasion.
