Cain’s numbers aren’t quite accurate, but he’s close. The number of recipients has topped 44 million since December, which means his estimate is about 7 percent too high. Wrong numbers. quote:
Cain placed the increase at 14 million, which is about 15 percent too high. Again, he’s close, but not quite right. Wrong numbers. quote:
Last week, the state’s other presidential contender, Newt Gingrich, said Obama deserves to be called "the most successful food stamp president in American history" because "47 million Americans are on food stamps." Wrong numbers. And Bush had a 51% growth of food stamps under his administration with low unemployment number 2002 19,096 2003 21,250 2004 23,811 2005 25,628 2006 26,549 2007 26,316 2008 28,223 2009 33,490 Think I didnt catch that huh. lol When I posted the other, I didnt look at the individual numbers they reported. So I happily correct that now. They are reporting 2010 numbers being 40302. And so far this year of 44000. An increase of 3, 698,000 people. 9.1% increase. Compare that to the increase of 14,394,000 million people under Bush. Seems to me the wrong President was crowned the food stamp President. If either expect to be taken seriously, they really should use accurate numbers.
