Read the OP again. The point is that they are crying the numbers have doubled. Which they have not. Of course foodstamp numbers have swelled. What do you expect people to do while Wall Street fucked them over with the blessing of the last Adminsitration?

So what... the Left keeps chanting "Obama Killed Bin Laden" -- he didn't... "A Navy Seal Killed Bin Laden".  Is that a LIE or just political spin?!!  It's political spin.

BTW, you do realize the headline that's bothered you so ("Over 44 Million Now On Foodstamps (Doubled under Obama") was bylined by someone (or some thing... EEEK) named "PSYCHO FREEP", right?!!  Certainly there are FAR better things to get yer panties in a bunch over... at least in my opinion.

I had to get a lawyer as well, and while they didn't get 25% it was still over $5000.  Over the 2 1/2 years I waited for my case to be heard I had also borrowed over $5000 from my mother that had to be paid back, so by the time I got my settlement there was a huge chunk of it already gone.

See the thing is I don't have a disease per se,I had an injury that has left me with a degenerative spinal condition....which,rightly so has a higher burden of proof than being diagnosed with an actual disease which can be proven beyond a shadow of a doubt.My condition calls for mri's to be evaluated.....pain levels estimated,range of motion...or lack thereof to be ascertained......in my case I was strongly advised by my neurosurgeon to not even attempt to deal with Social Security on my own....I don't in any way blame the system for any of this...unfortunately people game the system...so the system by necessity throws up roadblocks to give itself time to weed out the game players.Once my ruling was heard on appeal I have never...ever had to wonder when I would receive my check.The same is not true with my workers comp check...which is set up as a direct deposit....yet still will at times be delayed due to a holiday in the week or some other silly notion...when I have complained about the uncertainty of when I get my money some functionary explained to me that the WC court awarded me payments bi-weekly...as long as they do not fail to make those payments I have o valid complaint.....lol.

Status: offline 		Yeah Igor,I too had some debts to pay back by the time I got the big payday.....and I had my Workers Comp helping me along while I waited....but as I said in the last post I made....I have had no problems with the system once I received the my status.So all in all I have no complaints.4th Wednesday of every month like clockwork.

Total agreement there.  Once I had my hearing I received my first check in less than a month and it has always been there since then.

Tazzy I would suck that hot poker had my accident never happened...workers comp sucks.In New York though it is a WC court that you go into...it is an insurance company that administers the program.They delayed my surgeries despite their own doctors signing off on them....they delayed the lamenectomy(I hope I have that right) till nerves were so damaged that I started losing feeling in my left leg.Nerves damaged so do not recover...so having made my situation worse by delaying......they then cut off payment for physical therapy too soon,at least according to my therapist,my neurosurgeon and my orthopedic surgeon...by the time the matter went in front of a judge....fusion had set in....thereby making further therapy useless.
At ,my final WC hearing...when they were handed a permanent disability bill...all the Doctors testified that their decisions and administration of my case contributed to me having an appreciable partial neck dis,an appeciable partial shoulder/arm dis and an appreciable partial back dis.....the judge ruled that adding all of those partial disabilities together equalled a total lifetime disability.
The insurance company immediately asked me if I would accept a lump sum payment....I told their rep no fucking way....keep writing the checks...and be prepared for any future sugeries my doctors and I might decide I need.
Insurance companies suck!

I quoted the Politifact artcile so I would not be misunderstood. Perhaps you should read it again. Cain and Gingrich made the same mistakes as those articles.

Are you trying to say that the comander and chief of the military did not order those seals to do what they did?
Are you saying that those seals stole a helicopter and went on their own authority into the a soverign country and murdered a man?
