I was not responding to those photos because frankly, I find them off topic to the thread and a red herring.
We are talking about racially charged imagery on par with when the the Nazis compared Jews to rats, cockroaches, and to their "greedy" as a way to dehumanize them as a racial group....
Now, if you want to start a thread about how people on both sides of the aisle use hyperbolic propaganda that offends you, be my guest. It has NOTHING to do with the historic racial prejudice suffered by Black people that they have had to contend with, and its resurgence since the election of our first Black President. Those images are reminiscent of the sorts of ideas that got people lynched in this country.
Go on and try to find some sort of false analogy between the two, but it only makes you look ignorant of what the vast majority of the people in this country know, that being Black was stigmatizatized during most of our country's history, and even worse, Black people as a group were kept from contributing to the political dialog completely with Jim Crow, etc. .. It is not just an insult to Obama to pass around and titter at such propaganda... it is a slam on all Black people period, which is why Mr Barnes gave an articulate "fuck you" to the Republican Party
