there are so many different people out there, what are some of your pet peeves when perving through the site of CM and seeing profiles?

mine,

nudie pics or nude women on a guy (usually Doms profile,) it looks like a wall of shame! and no one asked to see whats in your pants yet, wheres the surprise in that!

can't wait to hear from you! what are your opinions, have fun with it. <3

Actually other peoples profiles don't bother me. If it is something I am not interested in, I move on.

why does there have to be a thread that disses other people's choices?

there is something for everyone and what may be a pet peeve for you may actually be what someone else is wanting to see. if you don't like it just move on. people all have their own reasons for having what they do in a profile and no-one really has the right to comment on it. have your preference and move on. it's what the ignore and block buttons are for.

I do not have pet peeves about other people's profiles so much as there are certain types of profiles that will repel my interest when certain men contact me.

1. Negativity towards other users on the site (like complaining about fakes, complaining that there are no "real" submissives on here, or complaining that women do not know what "submissive" means)

2. photos of their cock as the primary photo ( I report such photos). I will reject men for cock shots of any sort, actually

3. men who only talk about sex on their profile

4. men who say things such as "you will have no decisions in the relationship"

5. Men who cut out the female half of a picture. It remind me of the below photo

6. Men who have dirty rooms in the background of their photos.

Well, if you are going to use written medium, please know how to use the language.

It's one thing to be poetic and playful with words, but if you don't know how to use them, your mistakes are not poetry - they are mistakes. For example, the difference between dominant and dominate. Also, the use of "per say" when it is supposed to be "per se" although my lil spell check says it's wrong. Just an example of people using technology, and the technology is wrong. I also don't like how people make lists and don't stay with the same pattern.

I hate to admit it, but there is a little bit of irritation when someone says you "peaked" my interest... it isn't really a big pet peeve, and I certainly wouldn't pass someone by for a fairly small thing like that if they were otherwise a good match for me, but things like that tend to add up to an overall impression to me...

I am not a nazi about such things, though

Whatever happened to "web sight?" I used to see that one around a lot, years ago, but it seems to have died down. That's not typical with bad English.

I rarely spend time on the other side except to read the mail, but there are a few
profiles that you can't help noticing. Perhaps that's the intent behind their use of
AN EXTREMELY LARGE FONT

I can't let others profiles irritate me, I'd go even more nutty than I am now. If I don't like a particular profile or the message I've received from a Dominant, then it's block and delete. Report explicit primary pics if necessary. It's enough to block if they can't spell, even simple words, try too hard to impress, beat their chest "me Tarzan, you Jane" just has no appeal. Large fonts for no other apparent reason than to make their written profile seem longer.

I recently saw a profile of a female sub looking for a "strong cruel black master" It stated the typical "I'm desperate to serve" lines and ended with "I'm waiting to serve you Lord".

There was a single photo of a woman that someone had obviously picked off the first page of results on Google after searching for "hott chicks."

I found it amusing.

complaints about fakes and wannabes, calling women bitches and sluts, talk about sex, expecting everyone to call them Master or Sir, negativity, nude/cock shots, show-off pics...I'm sure there's more if I really think hard about it but it doesn't since if I don't like a profile I just shrug it off and hit the next profile button.

Text speak. That's number one on my list of pet peeves. I HATE text speak with a passion beyond any words mankind has created. Keep that shit out of the profiles, out of emails to me, out of correspondence with me entirely. I MAY let it slide once or twice, but in general, I'll just stop responding entirely. Permanently. If one doesn't have the respect to type out a three letter word, or is too lazy to do so, then where else in life are they a total loser? I don't want to be around them to find out. Life ISN'T that damned bad. Put on your big girl panties and trudge forward.

EDIT: To add:

Empty profiles. Put SOMETHING in there, for the love of all that's tasty! I mean, sure, if you've only been on the site for a day or two, fine. I can understand wanting to take a little time to write something up so you don't look like a total fool. But the ones that have been here for 6 months or longer, and STILL have nothing there? No likes or dislikes, no summary, no picture, no information at all, just "28, Female, Slave, Bumfuckingham Kentucky, 847 miles" or whatever.

overly-dramatic verbosity in which nearly every word is used incorrectly
a reference to skin color in a screenname (i don't know why, but guys called Blk/WhteDom4U generally get passed over)
whining about how fake everyone on collarme is, or complaining about spammers in the first paragraph
references to all the "bitches" and "sluts"
a profile with no pictures of "self" but with boatloads of kinky pics snatched from the expanse of the interwebbernetz
primary photos which feature genitalia
profiles with no info or no pictures (mostly annoying because these guys are often the ones who want to hound other people for photos)

when i see things like that, i tend to just say "pass."
