http://www.washingtonpost.com/business/economy/senate-vote-to-repeal-ethanol-tax-credit-fails-but-some-in-gop-break-ranks/2011/06/14/AGydKEVH_story.html

"A majority of Senate Republicans appeared to break Tuesday with two decades of GOP orthodoxy against higher taxes, voting to advance a plan to abruptly cancel billions of dollars in annual tax credits for ethanol blenders."

Indeed, an important distinction!

So.  I can assure you, Mark, that this wont get alot of action. because when you confront these retarded motherfuckers with their malfeasance they say stupid shit like you are attacking the messenger instead of discussing the idea (which I implore you, is what?)

DarkSteven -> RE: A majority of Senate Republicans Vote to Raise Taxes?! (6/14/2011 8:57:52 PM)

Oh boy.

If this is viewed as a new tax, the GOP should oppose it.  But if it's considered ending a special interest subsidy, the GOP should be for it.

This is one tax break that's difficult to justify.

Owner59 -> RE: A majority of Senate Republicans Vote to Raise Taxes?! (6/14/2011 9:00:40 PM)

Yeah,true.

Many of them signed Grover`s pledge not to raise taxes.

The united front, splits.

mnottertail -> RE: A majority of Senate Republicans Vote to Raise Taxes?! (6/14/2011 9:07:27 PM)

And here we sit, big OIL and drill baby drill, or fuck the future of America, and lay all this shit on future generations so they can unobstuctively suck each other off in the minneapolis airport bathrooms and make your children pay for it.

Today we have their answer.

Another moronic title to an O59 post. What part of "get the government the fuck out of the economy" dont you understand?

mnottertail -> RE: A majority of Senate Republicans Vote to Raise Taxes?! (6/14/2011 9:17:47 PM)

the part where morons who are constantly sniffing up our assholes to pretend that they aint in our lives are telling us that they are not in our lives and will not be in our lives if we vote for the ignorant motherfuckers.

Or so.

Owner59 -> RE: A majority of Senate Republicans Vote to Raise Taxes?! (6/14/2011 9:17:49 PM)

Since it wasnt for the "rich people" in the first place your question is moot.

If you had a clue about conservative principles then your snarky response would have been about reversing the progressiveness in the tax rates we already have, the analogy to removing subsidies. But you dont have a clue, surprise.

Owner59 -> RE: A majority of Senate Republicans Vote to Raise Taxes?! (6/14/2011 10:02:16 PM)

Who ever....no special rights(tax breaks) for some while the rest go without special breaks.

Awesome!

So, when you remove those subsidies for Big Oil, you know the ones you been ass licking them with for over 150 years,  then your asswipe about conservative principles wont make you seem like such a two bit whore or an itenerant insurance peddler, surprise.

Yeah, its what led to the 2007 recession. The same one we are still in. Yes, Republicans took out quite a number of regulations and inspectors in to multiple areas of financial and the economy. Their belief that this would spur a better economy. What they foolishly did, was assume no one would get greedy and prey on those that dont know any better. Those regulations were put in place for a reason....to prevent just that sort of mentallity from taking hold and ravaging the national economy.

Screw the Republicans, America will be a well-regulated capitalism, just like it should have been all along. Its much like the old Parker Brother's game 'Monopoly'. Monopoly has rules, and when they are followed.....players generally 'buy, sell, and foreclose on their friends'. But changing the rules disrupts the game balance.....which is often why so many people groan when someone mentions playing it.

itinerant
And Insurance Peddlers aren't itinerant. They generally travel within a confined geographic area within driving distance of their home, most of the time around 30 miles max, and return home nightly. At least that's what everyone did, when I was an insurance peddler years ago.

But at least you didn't use the example of a pawn broker, leeching off the misfortune of the poor forced to sell a 300 dollar tv for 50 bucks to buy grandmas medicine. Now, that would have been an insult.[:D]
