She wasn't wrong. She caught you in a lie. It really is that simple. I'll be very frank with you. I don't have a lot of concern about 'closing the door to newcomers'. CM isn't AA and the newcomer isn't the most important person in the room. Anytime that somebody doesn't like what happens around here and leaves, it's of very little consequence. There will literally be hundreds of new people who will join the site the next day. Yes, a thick skin is required. It's an adult site and that means that people get treated like adults around here. If they want a 'safe zone' where people aren't going to call them on their shit, I'd highly suggest another venue.
