Status: offline 		seems like the many of same women are on line almost all day...is any of this real or is this a loop with made up profiles and guys are just wasting their time sending replies etc? I have been on and read the same profiles all day today Sunday May 14th 2006. would like to hear from others with different or similar experience.

Status: offline 		No offense Nickman, but this seems like a strange place to post such a question. In reply though, I dont believe I've ever read a 'fake' profile, not to say they dont exist, but I dont see what the motivation would be to have one, unless theyre advertising for a website. If that were the case, why bother messaging them?

seriously - some are fakes. some are genuine, some are certain of their serach criteria and some are dipping a toe in the water... just like if you were to walk into any bar in any country, you'd find some peeps that did exactly what they said on the tin and some who wouldn't know honesty if it poked them in the ear'ole.

use your common sense when reading profiles and messaging peeps and don't get wound up by things you could use that same energy to just avoid.

Status: offline 		I log on the weekends and go about my day and check in from time to time.  During the week, I'm on here in the mornings for a few mins, then back here for awhile in the evenings.

Status: offline 		I'm real, and my profile probably seems like it is on all day and everyday.
But what is happening, is I live where I work, so the computer is up all day.  I go to several other sites, then go back to Collarme, have friends here, check mail, read the message boards....like being part of a community.
So what happens.....because I go back and forth onto the site, I end up showing right away in anybody's search.  So it seems like I'm on here all the time, when in reality....I'm on other sites as well.
But I am real, and don't have to prove anything to anybody by being dishonest.

Hmmm...  and those same women were online and read your profile all day.  But they didn't wonder if you were real, they thought, "Don't any of these guys have anything better to do than spend an entire day, all day, online?"

Status: offline 		I am real and like cuddleheart I log in on my day off and keep the window open while surfing around in another one.  During the week, I check in in the morning and throughout the day to see if I have any messages from my friends.  In the evening I log in and check out the forums.  So you may see my picture flash up there a couple of times a day.  Apparently many of my male counterparts do the same as I see a lot of the same guys every day.  If you are not happy with the choices that are available to you, either expand or limit your search criteria.

Status: offline 		a couple of pointers for the site newbie...

If you don't like the profile that pops up, there is an option to hide it from view... if you don't care for the next profile... repeat process.

Secondly, be sure to check your bulk mail folder from time to time, often mail gets dumped there because of settings.

Thirdly... patience. Good things come to those who wait. There are more than several of us on the site that have invested YEARS in the process of meeting a partner. Along the way we have made many good friends. Why not hang out & make a few friends along the way & take the focus off of the search for a bit. A large number of us who are in a couple will tell you it was when we weren't looking we found our partner.

ps... I'll send a copy of this to you directly just in case you don't make it back here to view.

Is this question real?
 
Many do not bother logging off a site, many of us work at the PCs that are in front of us, have dsl or cable, or just plain wish to read CM all day, every day!  LOL
 
Probably best not to judge things so quickly.  Oh and welcome to the boards.

There are several "Are all the profiles fake?" threads going on at the same time.  I'm comtemplating another "How to succeed in your search" subtitled "Hunting the femsub".

Of course, most ot the guys that need to read it, will never see it.

I would definatly read that thread, just dont subtitle it "hunding the femsub" because that is not what i am looking for, I am very new here, and i will take any and all advice that is given in a manner that seems to be honest and informative. So, please carry on, and i look forward to any advice you may give in finding the elusive "perfect" femdomme
