Stop drinking the Obama kool-aid. You're somehow attempting to justify how the bombs that kill innocent people, ordered under Obama, are not as bad as when Bush does the same thing. Obama is doing the exact same thing as Bush did in this regard: overthrowing a "dictator" (that the US groomed and supported for years) under the guise of democracy.
CNN may convince you that the rebels are a bunch of democracy loving secularists that just want a democratic society, but when they read a couple of facebook posts and twitter shouts, they erroneously extrapolate these Western ideals onto the entire Muslim population. Bottom line is that the average Libyan - or Arab for that matter - is going to see this as another imperialist secular conquest under the democracy veil, carried out by the United States.
Obama is in a quagmire with this one. If he wants to overthrow Moamar than he's going to have to send in ground forces. That's the next step. (I'm sure there's already covert agents, CIA cells, and special forces on the ground as we speak). Though, I'm not sure that Obama will be able to get permission from his bosses at the UN for a full scale land invasion. There's a slim chance that the air strikes could take him out, but air strikes are not going to have a lasting impact regarding political change.
