More challenging Tells:

Conflicting interests. If you see a girl who ‘lives for’ intellectual discourse and astrology, that is a warning. If you see spanking as a hard limit, she probably is not too serious about the lifestyle. A lot can be learned from the interests list.

As a non-fake sub who has 'lives for intellectual discourse' in my profile, let me enlighten your delusions a bit:

1. Yes, it is a warning. It warns anyone who reads my profile that I am enamored of intelligence and communication and if you are a dumbass who thinks that is too "challenging" then you are precisely the kind of idiot I want warned away from my profile.

You misunderstood my post in a manner that greatly changed the meaning and can be insulting to you. I do not desire that. The 'and' in my sentence was critical. I like a sub or slave or loves intellectual discourse. What I said is that if you have something like that 'and' something silly like astrology that is a warning. You can disagree or even insult me all you wish as it really has no meaning here, but I certainly never meant to demean intellectual discourse as an interest because that would be absurd. It was conflicting interests that were the issue.

I guess I wasn't worried about whether they were true of false, since I thought he was simply trying to provide us with a laugh.  But perhaps I was wrong.

Oh come on now Irish... I'd like at least SOME credit here. Honestly that was about the snarkiest post I've made in a long time. I was doing my snarky best.

Actually, I was very impressed with your post lol. It's the first time that I actually saw you go for blood with no mercy.

Suddenly I have this hankering for grape kool-aid. [8|]

GreedyTop -> RE: A Guide to Fakes: (6/17/2011 8:05:46 AM)

and I am STILL curious (now that Snarkmonster asked) is why you're spending so much time perusing profiles to find fakes?  Go fuck your wife or something, and let the adults sort it out themselves...

I have produced this list as a Public Service to help those on here who sre sincere, enjoy:

Easy Tells:

The girl violates the laws of physics. This describes about thirty percent of profiles. That she’s 5’4” and 60 lbs should be a warning.

Don't forget that not everyone uses the same measuring system that is used in the US (which is where CM is based).  Not everyone thinks to do the conversion.

The race and photo do not match. The number of blond, blue eyed, fair skinned native and African-Americans is fascinating.

Not all folks who are identfied as tribefolks fit the stereotypes. Also, since I have yet to see an option listed as "white African", it seems to be default setting.

There is an email address in the profile. No one serious would broadcast such information.

Nobody who is net savvy.  Not everyone is.

The phrase "retire from the lifestyle" is in the profile. Being in this life style is not like being a bus driver where you leave after twenty years.

If, after the time I have been involved in WIIWD, I decide to take a break, or stop entirely, retire is as good a word as any.

More challenging Tells:

Conflicting interests. If you see a girl who ‘lives for’ intellectual discourse and astrology, that is a warning. If you see spanking as a hard limit, she probably is not too serious about the lifestyle. A lot can be learned from the interests list.

So, someone with many and varied interests is a fake?  As is someone  who has experienced spanking and finds it not to their taste?

There are significant grammatical or spelling errors in her profile. Remember, she is supposed to be a woman, and women are usually careful. This is a good sign you are dealing with a man.

Or a woman who is dyslexic, or less educated.

She expresses an interest in cock photographs. If she does, you are talking to a gay man.

Or a woman who enjoys viewing cockshots.. there are many who do

On her profile or within thirty seconds of communicating, you have received pornographic photographs. Truly tasteful erotic photographs do not automatically indicate a fake, but pornographic photos provided very quickly are a giveaway.

Or, she could be an indiscriminate exhibitionist

She looks like she could pass for a supermodel. While I know it is challenging for supermodels to find straight dominant men in the fashion industry, most have not turned to collarme so they can serve you without limit.

Or she wasnt comfortable using her own pics for whatever reason and opted to use random photos of gorgeous women as avatars

Potentially difficult tells:

She thinks it is cool you are over thirty and live with your mom. She does not.

well, if you tell her that you're living with mom because mom isnt well/is having financial issues/lives in a bad neighborhood/ or you've been downsized why WOULDNT she think you're cool?  Especially in this economic climate?

She thinks it is cool you are over thirty and still go to Star Trek conventions. She does not.

What if it's something she's into as well?

Obviously this is very incomplete and I would hope there will be numerous additions.

She wants to be a slave, but she lists she is actively seeking switch males. Does this really make sense to you?

sure, why not? I see no problem with a sub/slave wanting to get her top on!

I hope this helps separate the wheat from the chaff. There are some wonderful girls on here, but there are swimming in an ocean of frauds.

I'm not saying you're entirely wrong, dude.. but sometimes, things are far more grey than black or white.

And there we have it.  Greedy Top is definitely a fake.  The evidence is clear for all to see.  [:D]

No, I did not misunderstand your post. You have actually just made it worse by implying that an interest in intellectual discourse and astrology cannot co-exist. Who are you to deem an interest "silly"?

It is people like you that demonstrate how narrow a view most people have about intellect. I can tell you that to me, intellectual compatibility means I can communicate on many topics, serious or not, with many people in a clearly articulated manner. I find well rounded people with eclectic interests to be intriguing.

If you think that being into intellectual discourse and being able to discuss philosophy one moment and then celebrity gossip the next means you are a fake, you have some serious issues.

What you call fake, I call desirable.
