Dunno if this has been mentioned yet, but speaking of British humour, it's either Benny Hill or all things Monty Python.

I take the humour where ever I can find it. You are about a 50/50 provider.

I feel the same way..That's one of the main reasons I enjoy this place. You and a few others provide much more than you'll ever know.

So it's a mutual thing. Win Win.

See though, I'm not the one telling someone to ignore my posts unless it's to mock that they use the same line. I could care less what the majority of you think about what I have to say..That should be evident by now, if you're not slow that is.

Let's see how you play off of my words now. I've left you a few good lines. This should get interesting.

Not this morning........my brain is still in bed. Late night and got up too early. Witometer has no power. Hair looks like that annoying guy on that really annoying ghost hunting programme. Eyes keep staring vacantly at nothing. And I am trying to motivate myself to get way too many things done today.

Althoughhhhhhhhh I gotta say, people watching the last few days has been totally fucking awesome. Both here and actual real, physical life. Must love da rednecks with their lack of teeth, toys with wheels, tabaccy, cheap beer, and horrid country music. Not to mention the hilarity when all of those components come together.

That is a family reunion here.  We are amusing some days.

this cracks me up every time.

OK, picture this.  My catty-corner neighbor has built a ramp out of 2 pieces of cheap aluminum to help his wife come down in her wheely thingie.  The a board goes at the curb, old piece of plywood, so she can get TO the street.  The covers for both his and hers (yes, they have a matching pair), are old BBQ covers.  He's built some kinda lean-to against his part of the house with canvas, rattan rugs, plastic and whatever else.  They sit out there all day fighting and drinking either beer or liquor, haven't seen what it is and don't wanna know.  Today, once again, as on a daily basis, he's drunk as a skunk and there must be one day a week where wifey lets him play his music as loud as he wants.  My TV is at top volume, I can still hear the music, and it's heavy metal.  He then sings louder than the music, which just enhances the whole experience.

Then there's the Thursday night scavenger hunt where people drive around and pick up garbage put out by homeowners.  Two week ago, I watched a guy and his wife pull up in a brand spankin new mini-van, seats pulled out, filled to the gills so much he had to rip off the oven door, the burners and the drawer from the stove left out by my neighbor.  And he had to squeeeeeeeeeeeeze that in.  He then asked if he could leave the stove in the driveway here for about 30 minutes.  Couldn't do it, I just rent.  So he jams the stove on top of a metal outdoor patio table, a huge one, with no protective blanket, and sorta kinda maybe ties it down.  Does he use bungee cords?  Well of course not, that would make sense.  It's some old string he had and off he drove.  I was waiting for everything to come tumbling out the back hatch since nothing was tied down, all thrown in, and the stove and table to come crashing down the side of the van.  Nope, musta made it home safely, I never heard a bing-bang-boom.

This is one weird city lemmetellya,  I won't even start on the munch I went to last night.  Let's just say it was the first and last time I'll go.  Eye & brain bleach needed for that story.  [;)]

Expect a cmail with my new phone #.  Changed it to this area.  O it's fun around here.  There's now an orange cone next to the piece of plywood.  And I still haven't figured out how that damn ramp is held together, I watched them put it together, it's 2 pieces on each side with no known support.  Ai Ai Ai!!!!! [:D]

Have you seen the TV movie or read the book, "IT" (Stephen King)?

Sorry, I don't find King's work all that great. I've read a few books and have seen some of the movies but most of them were stupid, I thought.

I know he's well liked.

Just curious...have you read "The Stand"? (Not the movie. Ick on the movie.)

**UPDATE**UPDATE**UPDATE**UPDATE**

The piece of plywood leading down over the curb to the road broke when the woman tried to go back up.  Cracked, sounded like a gunshot.  She then gets out of said wheelie chair and proceeds to push it up the half/ass ramp all by herself while her husband is looking down with what I imagine was a WTF? moment on his face.  It was all I could do not to LOL, if she's got the strength to push up the chair by herself, uphill, on a steep angle, why does she need the chair in the first place???  [:D][:D][:D][:D][:D]

pssst.... Lucy nice to talk to you too hunny!
