The extent of Bachmann's hypocrisy is truly disgusting. And the only media coverage we get are Fox “News” lies protecting her that she’s being attacked by the “left wing media.”  Wow.

Roll Call: Bachmann Used House Funds To Pay For Tea Party Rally. Will We See A Media Feeding Frenzy? Of Course Not. - Video

By Susie Madrak

The money came from the Members' taxpayer-funded office accounts, despite House rules prohibiting the use of these funds for political activities. Bachmann's office insists the expense was a proper use of official funds.

Bachmann billed the event as a "press conference," which can be funded from official accounts. But no questions were taken from the press and, unlike most press conferences, it opened with a prayer, the national anthem and a recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance.

And the fact that this has already been investigated by the ethics committee and dropped means NOTHING to you, does it?

You are staring to come across as being no better than a few of the other posters who cant see beyond political affiliation to the real problem.

Do YOU consider the use of the funds, as used by Bachman, appropriate?

She probably has no problem with the bridge to nowhere either...

Im about tired of the post and runs. If they want to debate, stick around and back up your posts. If not, why bother to post at all. So far just over the past week or so, Firm, Aylee, lucky and locked have ignored responses and requests to back up what they are saying. Yet WE dont know what we are talking about. [8|]

Aylee tends to be on the road a lot.  I've done the same thing, either forgetting where I posted, or while traveling.  CM's not the kind of thing I look up in motel business centers, or on my parents' computer.  Shit, that would probably finish my dad off!

I would agree with you if all of them had not posted recently.

What it boils down to is that Bachmann really hasn't got an ice cubes chance in hell of getting elected. She is simply another smoke screen to divert attention away from the important stuff.

Like Enquirer magazine, people keep buying it. They bought it with Palin and this is just Palin 2.0

I was not aware that one HAD to take questions at a press conference in order for it to BE a press conference... Only in Liberalland where the Zombies walk the earth, looking for hand outs.

The faux outrage of the left is hilarious to watch, you guys have it down to an art form. I'm beginning to think all liberals are just full of anger and rage, and miserable their entire lives.

OK rob, have you ever seriously heard of a press conference where the press didn't want to ask questions?

Here are the possibilities.

A: It wasn't a press conference

B It was a press conference and either Bachman was SO erudite that all those reporters were in too much awe to think of a question.

C: It was a press conference and Bachman's statements had such a huge "WHAT THE FUCK? effect" that the reporters couldnt think of a question.

The story doesn't say the press didn't want to ask questions, only that it wasn't allowed... Not the first time I've seen that at a "press conference".

I leave cock sucking to progressives, and people from Minnesota... But nice try.

That's very rare to have a one way conference rob.

It shows weakness and lack of preparation on the part of the speaker.

Are you sure the reporters weren't allowed to ask questions or did her advisers tell her to keep her mouth shut and not answer any for fear of what would come out?

Thats wvery doubtful, since your boys flew in special for the suck-off, and had to be arrested by minnesotans.

Well."one" could hide from the press.

But "one" running for President of the United States, would surly have to answer questions or be thought of as a coward,wussie,light-weight,hider,with something to hide.

Or "one" could run for office claiming to be a victim of the press. That`s really in fashion now.

"Vote for me,the press is mean to me and asks me questions"

If someone can`t stand the light of day,why should America put them in the most powerful position in the world?

For a goof? Just to see what happens? To piss off an imaginary liberal press?"take that, you meanie question asking monsters!"

She wasn't running for President at the time, Doofus.

I know of no constitutional law that says that only presidents are allowed news conferences.

You might want to brush up on the statutes, being a cop and all....

Press statement... where one makes a statement to members of the press
Press conference..., where statements and questions are expected to be made and answered

Too bad Blowboy's main way of controlling the message has been to not allow questions at news conferences/speeches. While he was boringly ubiquitous on TV as he started his 2012 reelection campaign in 2009, very rarely did he allow questions at anything but carefully controlled softball interviews. Teleprompter operators arent quick enough to feed him answers.

If I could get half the graft money you take in per year and not pay tax on it perhaps I could afford new spectacles.

Graft money? I work in Cornfield Indiana, not Chicago Illinois. I'm lucky to get a free soda from the convenience store.

I dont even get that kinda graft here, not so much as a soda can, I pay for everything, helped the dicks (at my expense, and even ones I didnt have to) find and jail a few perps, and when my house was robbed they were very sorry but I was not a priority.....
