I did like the space living on the farm but that was about it, you had to drive a long way for decent shopping!

i like going driving for shopping; it makes it seem like an adventure! haha ideally, i want to live somewhere that's not too far from a good-sized city, but far enough away where i can "get away." =p

From personal experience, I know that if you call the police about something like this, they will just say that it's a civil matter and you need to get a restraining order. So I would bypass 911, and just go to straight to anti harassment court for an order. But the neighbors' behavior would have to be really outrageous, because it would take a lot to make me want to deal with that court. It is like the professional wrestling of the legal world.

That's not really a 'worse case scenario'. Having you home show up on prime time news while having news reporters parked out on your lawn, religious zealots threatening to picket your property and a map to your home printed in the city paper - is really more of a worser case scenario. Oh yes, forgot about the emergency townhall meeting to change the zoning laws so that they could give you a citation that you have to appear in court to fight. What do you do? As much damage control as possible, and then deal with the consequences as gracefully and pragmatically as possible. Move on, live smarter, see things from the other perspective and chalk it up to a learning experience? Oh yeah, cut out the news clippings for your scrap book...gotta leave the grandkids stories to tell when you're gone you know.[:D]

I have been a lifestyle and Pro-Domme for approx thirteen years now, always living and working in very nice but definitely residential neighbourhoods. I have been worried about if the neighbours would find out what was going on, even though I am always exceptionally discreet. I would be worried for myself if they found out what I was and do. However, I would be worried for them if they were ever stupid enough to threaten me or damage my property. I would go to the Police and request they be charged. If the police were unhelpful, I would have to sort the problem out myself. I have no idea how far I might go to stop threats, vandalism and general criminal behaviour but in my mind, I feel I might be so angry that I would do something I might regret. I suppose I feel that I have never hurt, upset or inconvenienced my neighbours and so would feel very angry if small minded idiots were to treat me badly on the basis of what goes on privately within my own four walls.

In such a case I would summon the police without hesitation, and prosecute in a court. The law is enacted to protect, and I will use all my resources to ensure it is applied forcefully. The wrongdoers will know they have erred to have crossed me. Be at peace Aneka
