It's obvious that "Friends of Science" (how Orwellian) is nothing more than a Canadian oil industry PAC whose real intent is to get Canada to repudiate the Kyoto Treaty. That's what Sourcewatch reveals. Their collection of false and misleading "arguments" is also to be found in the film "The Great Global Warming Swindle", which is debunked in the link "Debunking the Deniers" on the previous page. It's an outstanding rebuttal of all the Denier's "arguments" (I would characterize them more accurately as propaganda, hence the quotation marks), which are virtually identical in both the film and the FoS website. Once again, Kirata Tapdances around, avoiding answering my direct questions,.

You can find "neutral source" next door to "objective values", on the same cul-de-sac as "honest spin doctor", which is "scientifically proven" under "laboratory conditions" to be across the road from the economist's "level playing field" a block after the "hall of Justice" adjacent to the "Library of clichés", which "the data tells us" is just around the corner from the "Beck Truth" Memorial, near the "fair and objective Fox" Statue on the "supply side" bank of "Trickle Down" Creek beside the Scientific Orthodoxy Church in Mythesville, in the State of Gullible right in the middle of the "peace loving West". There's mountains of data. The nearest thing to a consensus among those working in the field tells us there is a 10% probability of nothing happening and a 10% probability of catastrophic climate chance. So who's feeling lucky today? And tomorrow? And the next day? And the day after? And the day after that? Anyone feeling lucky for every day of the rest of their life? And your children's lives? And their children's lives? And .... If you answered yes to all the above why aren't you in Las Vegas right now? [:D]

Many of us are very aware and KNOW that some sort of climate change is occurring, it is obvious by the weather extremes and frequent record breaking weather we have been experiencing the past 7-8 years. What fascinates me, is so many of the extreme weather events in the past 5 years or so is record breaking! We haven't had this in 100 years! We have never seen this before! This sort of thing only happens every 200 years! We never thought this would happen here! This sort of event will probably never happen again! This breaks all the records we have since we began keeping records! Who knows if it is global warming, global cooling, or global whatever? I have no idea WHAT is causing it, the point is, SOMETHING really strange has been going on with the weather, weather systems, weather patterns, and this planet we call earth.
