Second time was when my 3rd wife told me she was leaving with the kids (one mine and hers t'other hers) as I was going on duty..
Damn IronBear, I'm surprised you still have a sense of humor and love women...
I would say you officially qualify to be on the "women are sucky money grubbing bitches threads with this kind of experience" under your belt, yikes!    M

Hell Lass, there were faults on both sides. I don't play the blame game generally and I'll accept responsibiity for my faults and part in both breakups.. But crikey, it is all part of the learning curve and I just figure that what I had before was preparing the way for Neets and I to get together..Life is just too damned short to add to the list of "What ifs", "What might have beens", or "If onlys".

Also might be when you combine the words 'marriage' and 'sharade' to be 'marriade'.....    might be a sign

How do you know when your marriage is over?

The minute you say I do. <---Now is that a positive outlook or what?

Can't say I don't agree with you. Never considered marriage to be more than a joke, for the most part. *shrug*

Is it a bad sign when you stumble over the word "fidelity" during your vows?? *giggles*

You know the marriage is over when you tell them sex is better with yourself and less messy and you're being totally honest not just mean.

For me it was when a friend told me who her husband had been having an affair with.... my wife!

Marriage isn't a mistake I'll be making again!

I guess that is what separates the boys from the men, and the women from the girls...  Taking responsibility, but I'm still working on giving up the "what might have beens, if onlys and what ifs."
If not for my parents' marriage, I would be a lot like some of the folks above, thinking marriage is an evil institution, but I do not, because marriage has never been "the" problem.   M
