Hey, I bet for enough money, they would be.

Or votes.

Look, folks, even if you think the GOP candidates ate all preposterous, someone's going to don the nomination.

While Romney is the obvious choice, I get the feeling that the Republican party plain doesn't want him.

If not Romney, who?

While I think that Bachmann is a loony, she can raise money, she looks good, she's ambitious, and her sound bites work. I give her a slightly better chance than Romney of taking the nomination, say about 40%.

If she does take the nomination, Obama's going to crush her.

That could be the plan. [;)]

Remember, there are people out there who think Olive Garden is GOOD Italian food.

I've only been to Olive Garden once but I thought it was pretty good. I mean, it was nowhere near as good as Molinaro's... but then Molinaro's is Molinaro's.

Maybe you just happen to have a particularly lousy Olive Garden near you... or maybe I've got a particularly good one near me.

Whatever.

Its not good italian food.

It's tasty and reasonably priced, but I expect authentic Italian from Olive Garden as much as I expect authentic Mexican from Tumbleweed or Chinese from "Ubiquitous China Buffet". At least "Ubiquitous China Buffet", or at least the ones in my area, tends to keep a separate menu under the counter for people who want authentic Chinese and actually will cook to order.

Song about the Republican candidate's debate:

"Don't you love farce?
My fault I fear.
I thought that you'd want what I want.
Sorry, my dear.
But where are the clowns?
...Quick, send in the clowns.
Don't bother, they're here."

Bachman does not have the mean streak or the self-centeredness that Palin has.

She is a female George Bush.  Dumb, bumbling, mis-speaking, religious, fact fabricator.  If he can get elected to 2 terms, so can she.

If the food isn't better than what I can make, I'm staying home. (Not that I cook gourmet every night, but for me to pay more, the chef needs to surpass my abilities.) The only exception is to humor my 80 year old father. Who used to take me to Olive Garden. Which uses iceberg lettuce.

They do indeed have instructions on the wall. And photos of what the food is supposed to look like. And all the "Chefs" are high school kids trying to make a buck. The pasta is precooked in deep fryers filled with water.

At the same time, Unlimited bread!

How do I know? The husband used to work there.

She has appeal to those who want to (literally) get rid of the Constitution and replace it with a theocracy.

The American people are never going to allow it.

As expected, the demonization starts when she wins a debate and shows how credible she really is. Much more likely VPOTUS than POTUS though.

tazzygirl -> RE: Rolling Stone piece on Michelle Bachmann (6/23/2011 5:16:31 PM)

I would say that depends on who she is running with. A McCain age person... doubtful.

kalikshama -> RE: Rolling Stone piece on Michelle Bachmann (6/23/2011 5:17:28 PM)

Please list 5 ways she has demonstrated credibility.

Since there are no "McCain age" people running, I guess that isnt an issue, now is it?

tazzygirl -> RE: Rolling Stone piece on Michelle Bachmann (6/23/2011 5:19:42 PM)

Its still early.
