Ya know-   a few people can see the exact same car accident or movie- and each see a different thing- even tho it is the same thing.

I cant even think of who would be in second place for Alex in inspiring debate about corruption and abuse of power.

Anyone from Rush to Maddow, O'Riley to Olberman, Their audiences drawf Jones. Now, if you want compare crazy, I am sure Jones has them all beat!

Some personalities -  bring out the boldness in others.

Not a surprise giving this is a SM board.     This is an emotional topic.   I am not sure why.

Its an emotional topic because some of those against comprehensive conspiracy theory as an explanation for understanding the world see it as having a corrosive potentially dangerous impact on society and/or having a very malign intent, and surprisingly some even care about the truth! It is important to have an open and transparent society.

I hope we all can stay on topic here.   I do not recall a thread that upset a batch of  people when it disappeared for 30 minutes.

Quite so, the need for an open transparent society is one thing we can agree on. However, if one sees conspiracy/evil around every corner then greater transparency will never be enough especially where some level of privacy is required in negotiations and decision making. Seeing the worst in virtually all situations will continue as a matter of course with conspiracists. It starts with belief.

I think these posts were on topic as the OP is about the impact of conspiracists of which Jones is one of the biggest purveyors.

Maybe I'm way off the mark here but it seems the conspiracy guys will often start conspiracy threads on pretty much a daily basis and their friends/usual suspects join in to have what resembles a discussion but really seems to be done to validate the OP more for the benefit of others on here! Has anyone else noticed this phenomenon?

Yes I have.... normally I do not give a rat's ass, but then it rises to the level of spam

Talking about how destructive Alex Jones has the propensity to be IS the topic of the thread, don't like it, you don't have to post

I for one, am glad that Alex Jones is around- he is a God fearing Christian and a patriot.

The assault against traditional marriage is now in full swing. Across the country, judges, mayors, legislators, and governors are calling for the legalization and moral acceptance of homosexual marriage. Many people wonder if such an event signals the beginning of America's ultimate demise. It might.

Gay people marrying is the cause of the demise of America[8|]

6-Year-Old Boy Raised by Homosexuals Wants to Kill Himself

New York Post | May 30 2004

An ugly tug of war is raging over the fate of a 6-year-old boy being raised by a gay couple who won custody of the child in a landmark decision in 2000.
Gays hailed the ruling as a major victory for same-sex couples, but the boy has since become a troubled kid who punches his teachers and repeatedly says he wants to kill himself, according to an expert's report requested by his school.

Now, he might say he has no problem with gay people, but he publishes those articles on his site...
