Of the 52 people who took the trouble to vote, the results have surprised me somewhat, and that because Christians are not the majority. In fact there are more aligned against the Abrahamic three than for. Now this is but one thread in one forum on one website, where people have been asked to voluntarily and anonymously cast their vote, but could this be indicative of the western feeling towards religion ? Is the God 3 dying in the west ?

Well, in this thread, they seem to scarce, that is, if the republicans are as god fearing as they are made out to be. But republican might be a focal point for those that feel inclined that way, but maybe the politics might fit, but does the religious allegiance fit in this modern world ? I'm a mix of Christian and Wiccan I guess. I believe in God, reincarnation, and white magick. I do not believe in Hell. I fail to see how white magick is evil when Jesus used it to heal people.

You forget, what God and Jesus might have actually have been has been perverted, fucked around and screwed up by power hungry mortals since. Like if Jesus was God's last attempt to educate mankind and he was against religion and warning mankind about it, how come in his and his dad's name we now have the very thing he did not want, organised belief and all the man made bullshit attached to it. That being I believe Jesus's appearance on earth was in vain, a complete waste of time, because we have allowed evil men to dominate belief. But of Jesus being the son of God, I doubt, but as he did exist, I am more inclined to believe the Islamic take on who he was, that being mortal but a prophet. And what's more, is God's name has and is still being invoked for the purpose of killing human beings and here we are, at the brink of perhaps the most devastating war yet, a war that will harm us all and most certainly the innocent natural world and that again will happen in God's name, God's name in all who compete's language and culture. So God and Allah, Christian against Muslim, you fight amongst yourselves, you are killing the God in each other.

I suppose it's due to the fact it mirrors some thoughts I have on religion.

In God's name, is a title of convenience, nothing more, And that because if an action was in God's name, i.e. killing other humans, who God is supposed to have stated that all of humanity are his children, or at least his creations, what right does man have to kill and destroy God's property ? Put simply, God /Allah/ YHVH believers cannot have it both ways, they either believe God is right and one lives as God and his prophet/son originally said or they believe God and co. are talking shite and mankind knows better.

I chose ‘other’; my ‘religion’ does not have a title, at this time, it may never have one. While some of my beliefs can be found in the dogma of other religions, I do not see it as a collection, or variation of those religions, because it has a unique source of verification. Kim
