I have always held to the belief that if whatever makes a person or persons happy what is the problem. But I do understand there is religion to contend with and with that, an outdated almost medieval religion which many county's laws are founded upon. But if religion is taken from law, how can law prohibit the joining of two people, as without religion which might very well be down to the interpreters own personal beliefs question the happiness of two people ? You and others will of course understand that I as a commenter on this subject hold what we have been told of belief in disregard and that because what we know has been told by man. Whatever one might think of my disdain for the laws of God, know this, if God is a lover of light and life, how can it make laws about who should find happiness in marriage ? The God that the churches promote I do not believe in. But if one analyses the laws we are all subject to, remove the religion and often what governs us does not make sense.
