The real question is not are you divorced, but are you remarried civilly or in some other way outside the Church? If you are divorced and remarried, then you may be comitting mortal sin (adultery) and thus should not receive. ... If you have a civil divorce and are chaste and not in a state of sin in any other way, you can and should receive. But it is what you do after the divorce that is the question.
ETA: Personal experience - I married an RC woman - divoriced after 18 months, 6 days, and 9 hours, but who's counting? She re-married on the bounce. Not sure ink was dry, but I can tell you he was DAMN cute!
Then about 10 years later, she writes me asking for an annulment - seems her kids are asking "Mom, why don't you take Communion?" So, I filled out paper-work, swearing that "I entered into the marriage without good faith." She paid about $300 and paperwork was buried in some file in Alaska where she and cutie had moved. Air Force man, being promoted from Sgt. to Lt. if he'd agree to serve up there.
ETA: Did I say he was CUTE?
