I am of the belief that acts are not dominant or submissive in and of themselves; intent is the driver.

So, with that in mind, we hear of doms who cook for the family because they like to do so (and I'm not talking BBQ, aka, "fireplay"). So where is the elusive HouseworkDom? The guy who does the dishes and dusts and vacuums and all that because he enjoys doing it? Where is he? Has anyone found one? Does this species exist, or like Bigfoot, The Loch Ness Monster, The Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy, is he an elusive character found mostly in dreams, fairy tales, and grainy photos??

I wonder if Doms who like rinsing their own dishes, washing out the sink when they get done shaving, and putting their own laundry in the laundry room fit into this category... and if they are similarly difficult to find.

My cheerful disposition and wonderful personality compensate for my housework skillz. I spell well, too.

Forget about housework skills. I'd settle for him putting his dirty laundry in the hamper in his closet instead of on the floor.

To be fair, he'll do the heavy work. Carrying laundry and groceries up and down stairs, taking the garbage down to the road.

I've heard nary a rumor of this creature's existence.

I have met some fabulous chefs for whom I'd be quite happy to clean up after/did happily clean up after.

My ex-husband did BBQ, house renovation, car, house, lawn maintenance, and occasionally deep cleaning. I did the shopping, most cooking and cleaning, laundry, gardening, and catered to his evil fantasies

It was a fair trade and I'm sorry we grew apart.

I don't know if this qualifies in any way, as Master doesn't actually ENJOY housework, any more than I do, but he does help with it frequently, without being asked to! He gets laundry done, takes out trash, picks up behind himself and the like, all without me asking him. And he doesn't wait til things are piled up either, he does this stuff on a regular basis. I can only surmise that he's worked out that doing some of the chores leaves me more time to cook, and Master does seriously enjoy my cooking.

ETA: Now if I could just get him to fold the kitchen towels properly.....

Doms can't be domesticated, they're an instictual creature that can be house trained at a very young age but the wild instincts remain.

This is not exactly what you are talking about but...

I am disorganised in the ADD kind of way and if I do not pay close attention to things, disorder can overtake me very quickly.

We do not live together.
My Master has worked with me cleaning things on the principal that a good leader never asks what they will not do themselves.
So, we have washed windows together and he has scrubbed floors. He has done dishes while I was busy tending to other things.
When my washing machine was not working we have bundled up my laundry and gone to his house and done it together.

Master has cooked, done the dishes, done the laundry and vacuumed. Not because he enjoys it, but because it needs to be done. We both work, so it takes both of us to keep the house in order.

THEY do exist. When owned although i did all the housework, laundary, etc., the one thing i did not do was cook. One of my MASTERS enjoyed cooking and did it pretty much all the time Of course, i had to clean up the kitchen afterwards, but to be fair to HIM, HE was one of those clean as you go type of cooks

If i am ever fortunate enough to again find an owner, THEY will have to know up front that cooking is NOT one of my talents

My Master does enjoy cooking.

While my preparing a special meal for Him is something I take great pleasure in (and try to do weekly), it is likewise a special pleasure for him to share with me something he has cooked.

When mine isn't working, he's diagnosed the problem. Sometimes he can fix it, once he switched the hoses so I could have hot water to wash until the part came in. And it's helpful to call the repairman and be able to say my model this needs a new solenoid (whatever that is).

I must be different. Every man I have ever been involved with, cooked and cleaned better than I do.

They were all organized as well. I always had a cleaning woman so I never wanted the guys to have to clean anymore than I do.

I also do not see acts as dominant or submissive.

I officially lust you.

Don't they realize that when they're scrubbing the floor, they's actually dominating it? They're bending it to they're will by forcing it to be clean. Same thing with the dusting. They are knocking those pesty dust motes around with that cloth, or tickling them with the duster. Folding the clothing and putting them away are akin to bending a slave up & putting said slave in a cage.

LeSigh

Oh teh humiliation of being forced to watch him dominate others as I am relegated to the sofa with a cup of ~gasp~ chamomile tea.
Sobs
