Why yes, yes it is! Notice how I do it with such grace!
You really ought to be more mindful of where you place your chair. :)

Help! I've fallen, and I can't get up! [8D]

I'm gonna derail the thread a bit and nerd out, but bear with me XD

I was (am) a fan of the Avatar cartoon (you know...the one that horrible Last Airbender movie was made about >.>). The show, though, connected with people on many levels but as a Domme there was ONE scene that really clicked with me.

In the final season, the comic relief main character gets the idea he wants to help fight, so he gets the idea to be trained by a world-renowned sword master. The trick is, this old warrior has become so jaded by his pupils of the past that he basically takes one or two students a year from very rich families who can keep him living in his house for the whole year =P When they first meet he has an exchange that goes like this:

"Let me guess, traveled hundreds of miles from your little village, where you are the best swordsman in town, and you think you deserve to learn from the master?"

"Actually, I've been all over the world."

"Yup, here it comes..."

"And if I've learned one thing, I have a lot to learn...when your butler let me in he said I had to present my worth. But I don't know if I -am- worthy."

At which point the master rises and stands before him, "Well, let us find out together."

I haven't found a way yet to articulate what -impresses- me better than that. Lots of things will get me -interested- in a person. But impressed, that's hard.

Resume non-nerdy normalcy!
