One of the things that happened to me when I started to travel was all the quirky things like those on this list just melted away. I no longer could be fussy about x, y, and z because ... guess what... There's no toilet seat - and you're lucky if there's a toilet. Let's not talk about soap and water to wash with. And I hate those anti bacterial things - make my skin dry. Blech. So I let it go. In Korea, it's come back somewhat but I still find myself saying meh. I don't care. I used to be the bra and panties match girl. If they didn't, I just didn't wear panties. (Problem solved! Everything matches skin color!) Now? I don't have the luxury of buying underthings except once a year (I don't like to buy bras without trying them on). I've become deadly dull in that arena. If it fits, I buy it. I usually buy a dozen or so every year when I go home. Then I toss out a few, and I have enough. Until next year. *sigh* The one (count them... one.) store in this whole country that has bras for women larger than a b cup, they don't have my size. They usually have about a dozen bras total. Yeah. uh... No. I'm still fussy about my coffee. And my pens. And um.... Oh I prefer Korean chopsticks, so when I go home I take mine with me and then use them. The people at the Chinese restaurant usually get a kick out of it. :) (In case you're wondering, the Chinese ones are made of wood and they are square at the end. They tend to be much thicker than the Korean ones. The Korean ones are more dainty and fit my tiny little hands better.) I always have designated "messy" areas in my world, and the rest? Not so much. I do like symmetry, but I'm not so fussy anymore. best, sunshine
