Sorry for the delay, I just got back to the thread.  It's Neutragena and it's expensive as hell ($12), but well worth it.  As it turns out, I evaded the heat and sun because Spyder threw his back out.  My mother took the kids to the waterpark and kept them for supper and fireworks.  My step-dad, who is a former PT assistant, put Spyder's back into place.  By late afternoon, hubby was feeling normal so we got to make the most of our blessedly child-free afternoon/evening.

Status: offline 		This is head spinning summer for me. Injured three times and now heavily medicated. For the first time in over two years I have some comfort. lol Met the best doctor I have seen in two decades, very personable, very understanding, didn't think I was lying and he helped me. Only problem is I can't make him my doctor as he is urgent care only. He added a new dx for me. The list grows. 

I have most the materials for my kitchen remodel and very little walking space in the place. Ran out of money to pay the guys to come redo it all with so many surprises of late.

Doing a lot of legal research and now medical. My son is having some issues with his brain injury and something is up. Not a good sign and I am not quite sure what to do yet, but if I don't figure it out, I may have to put him in a facility and that crushes my spirit. Don't know if I could handle that after all this work and having him with me.

I've been so busy I can't think half the time from being so tired and pushing myself, but I am determined, happy for the most part, talking to a few people, but tend to fire more than I would hire.

So rather than get overwhelmed and depressed, I am laughing at what comes next and what new story I can add to my lifetime that will bring more laughter in the days to come. I really think I need a vacation and an ass to spank.

(Shame faced granny here) I gotz me a new grand baby boy over in Germany! I love these grand babies... but dang... they better give me a year at least before they announce another one! Last baby they gave me a month when I insisted on a year between. You can bet I am crossing my fingers and hoping they cross their legs!

Status: offline 		It's hot, I'm tired, and we still have freaking chickens in our garage.

I did not get the supervisor position at work, and while I'm mostly relieved (I am NOT ready to be a supervisor yet)... I'm also a little annoyed that the guy they hired has no medical experience - just DOC and management experience. This means that we may be butting heads on a regular basis to get things that we need and to get things done properly from a medical stand-point. We'll just have to see how things go.

Also........ Before this week is over I will have my photo biz website up and running!!!! I am so excited! Better late than never.

Hopefully I can, at least, pay for the new lenses I have purchased and am fondling at every opportunity. Such beautiful babies they are. Have another photo gig this next weekend! Have a way to go before I can order the new camera....

Some real serious work has been opted to me plus I have a stable part time job. Serious work is serious for it gives me the ability to actually have a career.

Status: offline 		Ok, so it's official - my relatives in Detroit are moving to Waterloo, Iowa. I'm not particularly thrilled, but if my brother is happier, maybe he'll be less of a pain in the butt... (I can hope, right?).

Now I have to work on finding friends in Iowa to distract me from my family when they start to get on my nerves LOL

Kind of late posting on this roll call, but....better late than never.

July has been a month of change for me. I resigned from one of my jobs so as to allow time to focus on school and future plans. It was a bittersweet leaving, but a good move on my part as the stress was taking its toll on me mentally and physically.

I've just started a weeks vacation period...time off to re-group and get caught up with work around my cottage and school work. I've been giving away bags/boxes of things and heading into a more minimalist existance...which is good given that I only have one closet and one storage cupboard.

On the romance/dating front... I've never had more "discreet" married men approach me...why marry if you plan on cheating? So many players out there.
I feel like Diogenes holding his lantern up in search of an honest man.

Ah well...life goes on. There's work to do, gardening to be done, paints to be played with (I'm dabbling in art again) and future plans to be made.

For another couple of weeks, at least. I'll probably still go up once in awhile - as I do have friends up there ... but probably not even yearly anymore, since bro and sis-in-law are moving ... the replicants are my priority.
