It gets a little confusing sometimes though.

I'm told by conservatives here how Dubya was harassed and treated horribly by the liberal main stream media.  

Then in the next breath those same conservatives are telling me Dubya wasn't really a conservative and labeling him as a RINO after spending eight years defending his policies.

I think you're taking this a bit too serious. I come from a pretty fuckin' rual area and if they aren't flippin your shit like this it means they don't like you.

I doubt Ms. Palin is all that offended. At least she shouldn't be, if they like you and say it, they count you as one of your own, if they don't like you and say it what the hells the difference, they aren't likely to change their minds and start lovin' ya anyway.


I doubt that some journalist from Pittsburgh is saying it as a term of endearment. It is a slur, granted it is one that everyone seems to find ok to use.

Most days I let it go by, today, I didn't. No one is gonna change their mind because I bitched a bit, but I feel better about it anyhow.

And if you look at the entire Family Circus the Left is doing the same for another Disappointment in Chief.

I've been wondering if one good way to see through the candidates of the future would be to ask just who they plan to bring on board to help navigate their tenure. That in itself might lend great insight as to their chances at success. And I'm not speaking as to those who would endorse them (these endorsements are bought in various ways, so what good are they), but rather who is going to be their "experts" and such.
