I just had an epiphany. Furthermore, it is one of those things that you know, but (for me) really do not 'think' about it. Pretty cool to read it and get that 'dayammmm' feeling. Thanx! quote:
ORIGINAL: Wulfchyld Little one, The natural dominant only raises his/her voice for show in a scene. This could be a public scene or a private scene and he/she will understand that that raised voice is necessary to fulfill that play. As I am sure you are well aware of is your Master's dominance stems from his self-control. It is his even tone that lets you know he has that control, but it is the lower tone, that sudden drop of octaves that snap you to submission. A Dom/me doesn’t yell and scream to make point, they are true predators; just as the big cats purr of excitement drops in tone before the pounce, the Master/Mistress's tone drops. This is your first sign that it is business mode and you, the prey, are about to be pounced by the predator. For me, when I raise my voce it is all play. It is those low tones, which I trust you already understand the different degree's of those tones, that will clue the sub/slave into serious, disappointed, irritated, upset, etc... The fact remains that the lower tone means business, and if any sub/slave gets involved with the yelling screaming Dom/me, be warned, he/she lacks control.
