BENGHAZI, Libya (AP) — Turkey's foreign minister says his country recognizes the leadership of the Libyan rebels as the sole legitimate representatives of the country. Good, but it could be more to do with the fact that they wish to continue trading with Libya, once Gadaffi has been ousted, and could also signify a growing belief in the Muslim world that Gadaffi is finished, which then could lead to other such uprisings, where people are not happy with the rulers, the Arab Spring. But of the Arab spring, will it only be Arab, or is this desire for change infectious, meaning, will it spread to other countries, non Arab countries even ? I wonder if that question has grazed in the minds of our leaders in the West, as one thing is for sure, public feeling towards the role of government and it's actions is becoming more vocal. But is this desire for change symptomic of the Internet? For surely uninhibited communication between commoners the world over, is causing a change of ideas and it is for this reason existing regimes wish to control what their subjects access, China being a case known, and in some respects pertaining to religion and morality laws, the Muslim world. Long live the internet !
