What a fascinating thread to read through. Personally I love my partner calling me her slut and whore, sends shivers through me, whether whispered quietly in the ear whilst out and about, or moaned aloud whilst pleasuring her intimately... Why? I couldn't say for sure. Perhaps as I was brought up conservatively and it's very encouraging to know that my sexual desires are appreciated and indeed to know that I am seen to be theirs alone for precisely this purpose. To me it is a stimulus to release those desires and cross the inhibitions to be filthy to my hearts content. Language is fluid, always has been, and is nearly always about context. For many years growing up I thought the word bugger meant insect, as my Dad would always say "Got you, you little bugger" every time he swatted a fly... Ignorant, yes, and a petty example. Made sense to me as 'bug' was already synomonous with insect. A word can mean what you want it to mean, you can't expect all others to see the same meaning naturally. You could be completely ignorant of the true meaning or just think yours sounds better and prefer it considerably. In all things what does it matter as long as you and your dearest understand? At worst some archaelogist will dig up your diary and be a little confused as to what you got up to. I must admit this made me laugh: quote:
ORIGINAL: tazzygirl Which is why the term came to be about women. Men hate it when we best them at anything. There are many men around who love it when women best them
