In our house, the cat IS a toy.

My roommate purposely puts a pillow on top of his feet so when the runt(wet paw) goes to sleep on it he can thrust his feet into the air... "The Cat-a-pult"
It's ok though. Come football season I have a Ravens license plate I'm screwing into his Steelers affiliated car.

You do realize you may die as a result.

There must be retaliation for screwing around with my pussy!

I'm sure I must be misinterpreting this, but I really can't work out what an innocent interpretation would be, so I'm going to just keep LOLing immaturely.

The big round plastic rings left on the mayo jars after you open the lid are very popular here, as well as excess strips of braided fabric left overs from rug making, I buy all the balls of yarn I can get my hands on at yard sales, straws i have inserted a sprig of fresh catnip in, and right now they are all in love with a kids plastic wading pool I have floated some old fishing bobbers in.

When I had a cat, the easiest toy to provide hours (cat hours, that is) of entertainment was a balled up piece of paper.

For some reason, she found dead crickets to be loads of fun to.

Da Boyz don't play much. They are big galumphing monsters. But I did buy one of those cat fishing rods with a feather thing on the end, put it on top of a table with the printer on top of it & every now & then they go over & whack at it a bit. That seems to wear them out & they have to go nap for another 5 or 6 hours. *sigh*

I hadn't considered mixing the cat crack with a straw.
Sounds like a beautiful idea though. Where do you generally get sprigs? I have only found the crushed up variety.

You have a dirty mind.
There is nothing dirty about giant ballsacks. Giant ballsacks are perfectly innocent things, even if it is my roommates giant ballsack I am referring to, and it is now covered with pussy hair from my fluffball constantly cuddling it.

I grow my own catnip, fresh is wayyyy better for them, and more potent as well. If you do decide to grow some, a 8 to 10 foot sheperds crook type planter is best, lots of sunshine as well.

Yes, but if she pees on the floor, YOU will be cleaning it up!

My mom used to grow catnip in her yard. She'd then harvest it & dry it & bring a brown grocery bag full of it over for Mr. Cat. I'd put it in the fireplace we didn't use for fired & every now & then when he wanted a fix, he'd crawl into the bag & sort of eat his way out. It was pretty funny to watch!!
