Why dont you find a real copy of the pledge that includes that language. Then we can discuss it.

housesub4you -> RE: Bachmann Signs Pledge that Says Black Children Better Off During Slavery (7/8/2011 5:25:04 PM)

It's not what she said, bit it was said by the people who paid her to speak and she never did disagree.  she did make the following statements and signed a pledge to ban all forms of porno, including this site....

BREAKING: Bachmann pledges to ban pornography | Tonight, Michele Bachmann became the first presidential candidate to sign a pledge created by THE FAMiLY LEADER, an influential social-conservative group in Iowa. By signing the pledge Bachmann “vows” to “uphold the institution of marriage as only between one man and one woman” by committing herself to 14 specifics steps. The ninth step calls for the banning of “all forms” of pornography. The pledge also states that homosexuality is both a choice and a health risk. You can read all the details of the pledge here.

this was already debunked. Protect from isnt the same as banning. It also has nothing to do with the OPs claim that the pledge includes language about black children being better off under slavery.

imperatrixx -> RE: Bachmann Signs Pledge that Says Black Children Better Off During Slavery (7/8/2011 5:30:00 PM)

You're not protecting women from pornography if you're allowing them to star in it, are you?

housesub4you -> RE: Bachmann Signs Pledge that Says Black Children Better Off During Slavery (7/8/2011 5:32:39 PM)

Actually yes it was and is why the group that supports her is backing away from thier first claim to BAN porn

Humane protection of women and the innocent fruit of conjugal intimacy — our next generation of American children — from human trafficking, sexual slavery, seduction into promiscuity, and all forms of pornography and prostitution, infanticide, abortion and other types of coercion or stolen innocence.
As for debunked...

like it or not she agreed and did not speak out against what those who paid her want....

Slavery had a disastrous impact on African-American families, yet sadly a child born into slavery in 1860 was more likely to be raised by his mother and father in a two-parent household than was an African-American baby born after the election of the USA’s first African-American President.

Lucylastic -> RE: Bachmann Signs Pledge that Says Black Children Better Off During Slavery (7/8/2011 5:58:09 PM)

It's the first point in the preamble to the pledge (on page 3 of the PDF).

Sorry Willbe, but it is in there.

Who the fuck makes up this stuff?

I mean, OMG!

What kind of person sits around coming up with little tid-bits like this weirdness?

Talk about having no life,no heart and less than zero common sense.

If she signed it, acknowledging and knowing that line was there, then she is going to go down ugly.

What a fuck`n putz.

She and the other cult-members will claim she`s being victimized by the "lame street media"(how clever)

This reminded me of the gambler....Bill Bennett`s telling comment "that aborting "every black baby in this country" would reduce the crime rate".

Does this mean that aborting every white baby would reduce the white-collar crime rate?[8|]

What kind of person makes this shit up?!!!

SilverMark -> RE: Bachmann Signs Pledge that Says Black Children Better Off During Slavery (7/9/2011 3:44:53 AM)

Well, she seems consistent in her idiocy![:D]

Sorry, my upload function was not working yesterday. The implication is clear that due to the benefits of faithful monogamy, it was better to be a slave with two parents around than free with one parent.

However, I'm not sure that their source agrees:
