i learned to keep mine shaved due to questions of convenience and hygiene, and just fucking kept it that way. i go back and forth as to if i prefer others to be shaved or not. men not so much, it does look odd for some fucking reason, but women, sometimes yes and sometimes no.

That could be fun, sort of like those cool topiaries where the bushes and trees are shaped like animals and stuff

*just climbing back on chair*

Miss Linn, your posting had me having hickups of laughter.... I visualise it........ I mean from down there to your upper lip *lol*
But I agree with Kalikshame, I keep the landingstrip :)
And for the rest, I take my time, I need an hour or more to get neat. And when not needed, I just simply let it be.

While ago, there was a couple, whom were all natural... must say, I will rather lick my kitteh.... [:)]

FelineFae -> RE: Say no to bare coochies!! (7/11/2011 5:52:47 AM)

You know, as i think on it, i'm good with bare kitties and i don't have any issues with unshaved kitties.
Thinking back, the only time i've expected to see a bald kitty was if it belonged to another dancer.
So long as the kitty is well taken care of, they're all good.
Panties are like candy wrappers, and learning what's inside is a fun sweet surprise.
Bare is good, trimmed is good, kitty is good.

The cool thing is that each woman can decide how she grooms herself in that area.
What's interesting is that, we really don't have the same social acceptance for how we groom under our arms.
How different would this thread be if we were speaking of under the arms or our legs ?

zephyroftheNorth -> RE: Say no to bare coochies!! (7/11/2011 5:56:03 AM)

Funny thing, I wax my legs regularly but not my girly parts. Maybe because my legs are more visible? To be honest I really haven't given it much thought, it's just something I do.

that's an excellent line of questioning, FelineFae
there's a bellydance troupe called UNMATA (who have a great ponygirl choreography =p) who have several members who don't shave their pits. in the beginning they took  A LOT of flack for that. people would get up and walk out of their performances, just because of a little bit of underarm hair. now that they're hugely famous in the fusion world, nobody cares anymore. but in the beginning, they had a lot of problems over such a small thing.

That is amazing to me!!! I had a bartending job back in the mid-70's & my boss told me to shave my pits. I told him I would do that when he shaved his. Needless to say there was never another word spoken about that. [:D]

FelineFae -> RE: Say no to bare coochies!! (7/11/2011 8:58:02 AM)

Well, some refer to a small patch of pubic hair as "proof of age", but by this logic, shouldn't underarm hair be just as valid ?

e2a

Now, to be fair, i no plans to stop shaving under my arms. Nor do i plan to stop shaving my lady-fur. The point is that i'd face a lot of negative attention from the world if i wore a camisol with little copper patches under my arms. No one would see the growth of hair as " normal " nor as a sign that i was beyond puberty.

HannahLynHeather -> RE: Say no to bare coochies!! (7/11/2011 9:09:39 AM)

if you can mow it, you can sow it

LinnaeaBorealis -> RE: Say no to bare coochies!! (7/11/2011 2:37:50 PM)

If I have received negative attention for pit hair, it has been silent. They're probably just too scared of this skeery bitch to say anything, to be fair. [8D]

Only time I shave anything is if my SO wants it that way. Other than that I really don't care what people are thinking about my furriness. I do, however, pluck the chin & lip because I really really hate hair growing there.
