I'm still kind of confused.  The original says that you felt there was a connection but you say the person was never available.  This leads Me to a guess.  Is it a case of you and the person you were communicating with are local to each other, yet the Dom she has chosen is out of state?  Meaning, she'd rather be in a long distance relationship because what that person has to offer just might be someone that she would be involved with rather then you, who just happens to be local?

That doesn't translate to bad manners to Me.  If the above is the situation, the person was actually being more than polite, even though she wasn't available to begin with, just because you were local. 

Like I said, it's just a guess, but even on My profile, I have that I am not searching for anything but I'm willing to answer emails from those local to Me or from the forums.  It doesn't mean that a conversation isn't going to have a natural end.  It also doesn't mean that just because a sub might be local to Me, that I'm going to toss clip just because there is somebody in the neighborhood.

The op doesn't believe that people in relationships should be on this website or ever talk to others. He finds that rude.

By his definition I guess I'm rude. I'm here for my convenience, not for the convenience of others especially those I don't know. I often exchange emails with other people on wide varieties of topics. And I'm already in a relationship.

Maybe the op ought to ask people he sends email to if they're in a relationship or not, instead of talking as though he wants to make friends when all he really wanted was to get in the girl's pants. Lots of people here have become friends and value those friendships very much, By not opening himself up to the possibility of friendship the op is losing out.

Well, if she said in her profile she was not available then my guess is... she said what she meant and meant what she said and was "not available".
I can understand your confusion if it seemed like she was giving off mixed signals.
However there is something that you are apparently unaware of in the F sub world which is that when a F. submissive tries to politely break off contact it rarely goes well and she is the recipent of all kinds of verbal abuse.
It is all sour grapes but most women learn that formal endings usually come with a price.
So no contact eliminates the probability that most polite refusals end up with her being called all kinds of names and being threatened.

I know you will understand that in that context it was self-protective and "nothing personal".

Peon, you scared the sh&# out of me with that avatar of yours.  First I tried to kill the bug.  Of course I could not.  Then I assumed I'd picked up some sort of virus that was putting bugs on my screen.  The adrenalin started to flow.  Only then did I realize the bug stayed in your box.  Sheeesh...I am getting too damned old for scares like that.
