How many times have you seen a hunter shoot at nothing or something not clearly identified? How many times have you encountered hunters drunk and armed while in the field?

I had a Smith and Wesson model 10 fall out of my coat onto a paved parking lot no harm done but the area around me cleared instantly. Ruger single actions have a piece of metal which rests between the firing pin and the chamber until the hammer is pulled back. All other single actions lack this safety feature and are highly vulnerable to discharge when dropped.
