In 1983-84, I was an exchange student in Europe. That spring I stayed with friends in Fribourg, Switzerland. The only English TV channel would play music videos twice a night. Each night, each time, they played the same videos in the same order. I am sorry to say I know this first -hand. (Being poor students, we didn't have money for nightlife.) Three of the songs remain etched in my mind.
