At conventions, I invariably go by the name "Liz."  Online, except for here at collarme, I am universally attached to the name "Emerald."  I started using LuckyAlbatross at CM instead of EmeraldSlave2 back in October 05.

I'm called "femcar wannabe" as a teasing/humiliation name.  I'm into a lot of the things that femcar is into, for a lot of the same reasons, and tend to be quite envious of her and the opportunities she gets.

Status: offline 		It really doesn't matter what I am called because it is all in the tone.  Take any adjective (nasty, skanky, dirty) add on a basic noun (bitch, slut, whore) and I am good to go.

I sometimes giggle if it is something that strikes me as funny, like "goddamned slutchild fucktoy pisshwore."  Because that is quite a mouthful.

I don't particularly like "girl" but it has grown on me a little.  

If you want to make me swoon though, just whisper "Julie."  I find something very powerful about my own name. That doesn't seem to happen very often though.

I have to agree with this.  Since I have become my Lord's my real name has only been mentioned a couple times by him and mainly in front of my family.  However, he used it once just between me and him and it had me in tears.  It was extremely intimate to me.  I am not sure what I would do during play if he said it; probably cry like a baby.

I enjoy all the usual names, but my favorite is bitch and slut.  Mainly because I have been called both before and it was intended to degrade.  He calls me that and I feel loved.

Isn't that funny how that works?  Thinking of my regular partners, and one dom specifically, my name is generally only used when referring to me to someone else.  "Julie did..." or "Julie is here" or "Julie said.." I overhear my name, but he rarely addresses me with it directly. When he does, it is usually in the context of saying something important.  But once he whispered in it my ear during play.....sigh.  Intimate is a good word choice. Later I pointed out repeatedly I really liked that (in case he missed the obvious) but dammit -- he has not done it since.  Must be saving it for a special occassion.

Well there's the common thing of growing up that when your parents called you by ALL your names, you knew things were going on.

Or my boyfriend knows how aggravated I am with him by how many middle names I use (he has 3).

When you use pet or nicknames all the time, then someone using your actual name can have quite an intimate impact- since it's only something that someone close would or could do.  Last night when I was being moody and quiet, my partner quietly just used my full name and it brought me completely back in line.
