You are right about the regulars. When you see the same people year after year posting evey waking hour then you realize this is a way of life for some and it is not something we need to actively get envolved with as it will simply lead to nothing good for you. For God's sake, some here have 15000 to 40000 posts, think about it, and when you scan their posting history it really is almost every waking hour. So, there is a segment of the population to whom the forums are vitally important for whatever reason, probably social or physical isolation. Add to that a certain anti-social tendency brought on by too much focus on the computer day after day and this explains some of the more snarky ones. I suppose it is a sickness that could be healed only by removing yourself from this environment and particpating only on a very limited basis.

Now, that will not happen for most and their numbers increase year to year so it gets worse and that will just have to be okay because they will not change no matter who repeats your post and I've seen it repeated many times during the years I've been a member here. So, just pick out what interests you, post sparingly if you dare and try not to stay too long.

Some show their sickness even when they do only post on a very limited basis and do not know when to remove them self from this environment.

lol rapier but what i didn't miss was most your posts where 3am

which is 7 or 8 statside (corrected for the anal spelling and mistake police)

either that or wtf u posting at 3am in any forum

but then i can post under two or three different names

but then i would think many would see the similarity in the language grammar etc

oops sorry given that away on how i know people use multiple and fake profiles

as sherlock holmes said if you exhausted all possible motives the last one no matter how implausible is the right 1

Not entirely sure what you're insinuating (mind you I doubt you have any idea either) but for the record I have never posted to CM via any profile but this one. It's not like I'm reticent enough to need an evil mini-me. I am my evil mini-me.

Mind you, if I had, my alter-ego would think you were a whiny little grumble-muffin too, so you'd be 2 for 2.

PS: Have you given any more thought to my "chuck yourself under a bus" suggestion? Doesn't even have to be a bus either - train would be fine too.

The important thing to remember about London black cabs is they can't work if they're dented, dinged or scratched (or dirty either, which is why they get washed every day or every other day) - it's against the conditions of their license.

So yes they'll push hard into a 50/50, right up to the point where they're 5mm away, when they'll back right off.

Once you know this you can't half have some fun with em :)

Minicabs OTOH, tend to make it up as they go along, and are best avoided.
