Might want to find which "you" that you are talking about in particular. I laugh My ass off at most of the train wrecks that go on around here. Had it not been for the fact that there were kids in the house that was the principle players were sharing in the last drama filled thing, I'd have taken that one a lot less seriously.
Keep something in mind, too. Any really long thread often has conversations in the middle between respondents where they aren't really talking to the OP anymore. I know it's hard for you to understand that some people actually *want* to exchange pleasantries and such, but it really does happen.

I really don't understand why people think this is such a huge concern. There really isn't a consequence to it for folks who have been on these forums for a while. If people stay to have conversation, that's fine. If they don't, that's fine, too. Do you even realize how many new people a day join this site? Trust Me. When some new people leave, there will be 500 more that come along in the next twenty-four hour period.

Most new people actually don't encounter that. Granted, fantasists do. People who start out with a bad attitude or a bunch of whining do. When folks do the electronic equivalent of walking into a room full of people and pissing on the floor, yes, they do.

Again, who cares? People come and go to this site all of the time. I happen to like the longer term folks to the forum who post because I know their posting history, what dynamics they are involved in, and other little tid bits of their lives.
