Right now it is 115 degrees outside and the heat it going to continue for another week. I would LOVE some rain right now. Now. . . sometimes it stays grey and rainy for over a week. After a few days that gets hard on me. I tend to loose energy. On the other hand, in this heat I have little energy either. I may just be a hard to please type of weather person.

I like it when it's a warm rain and thunderstorms at night while I'm sleeping. Any other time, not so much.

FR Up in the Scottish Highlands, in my state-of-the-art tent that'll take any wind and any rain . . . ah, it's bliss. That is the way to fall asleep at night. :-)

A story about rain...one time, when I came home from work, my love had done up my bedroom into a stable. Took all the furniture out, laid hay all over the place, the whole bit. (I wasn't crazy about most of what he made me do in there, but that's neither here nor there.) We did everything two people could do with hay, and then...we had to get it out of the room. So there we were, in the rain, dragging tarps full of wet hay across my lawn to the woods. We were drenched, dirty, worn out, but laughing like hell at the comical image someone would see of two half-naked people dragging all this hay out of my bedroom into the rain. So much fun. I love rain.

I love making love during a thunderstorm, so I pavlovianly lurve watching the barometer plummet: booo oooo ooooom. A lot of subcontinental/tropical erotic poetry comes from the rainy/monsoon season :-)

I love the rain. I wish I had a tin roof, because the sound of rain on one relaxes me so much it is amazing. I still enjoy getting out and playing in the rain during the summer, although we get so many bad lightening storms here, I don't get to do that often. I just loaded the truck for the drive to Florida, and it is clouding up now. I am going to nap before I head out, and if it rains on my drive, I will not like that rain, in fact, I will curse it severely!

One of my fondest memories, of childhood, is sluishing down the road in our car, listening to the windshield wipers tapping along to the beat of 'I love a rainy night' playing on the radio, and, the sprinkling taps of cold on the roof. Sometimes, we'd pull off to the side of the road, couldn't take it ay more, and, stick our upper bodies out, or jump all the way out, to frolic in the rain. Often, both sides of the road had other families and couples, doing the same. We had a tin roof, and, I loved the sound. Because where I grew up had so much dust in the air, and, I'm allergic to dust, I also grew to associate the sound of rain, especially on a tin roof, with relief, being able to sleep, so, to me, rain sounds like a beautiful gift from God, comfort, and peace. So, yes, you could say I like rain .. just a little bit.
