Status: offline 		Anything off of "Born To Run" by Bruce Springsteen. I wore out the first of several copies of that eight track tape in the summer of 1976. While Bruce is not my all time favorite performer BTR is my one all time favorite album (BTR and "Darkness On The Edge Of Town" are really the only albums he did that I like). BTR is my desert island disc. I'm listening to it as I type this and I never get tired of it. Eight songs and I love every one of them. It's the album I listen to when I am down. It's the album I listen to when I am feeling up. I don't know what is harder to believe - that a twenty five year old wrote that stuff or that in the next thirty five years he never wrote anything else that even came close. Last month's passing of Clarence Clemons has put BTR back into heavy rotation at my house for another summer.

To be young again.

Status: offline 		there is a Leo Sayre (?) song that reminds me of summer i think his only hit because it was the summer of my Senior yr in HS  Lido Shuffle.  Not really a summer song but hell it was summer I was driving a 1971 vette and a Senior, life was good.
