And I believe her, completely, because it's been borne out with my own experience. Show your personality, show your humour, that'd you'd be a good companion in a pub of an evening. It really does work.
I think being a sub-male, particularly, can put one in a mind-set that is unreal. You can get the feeling of being overawed by real-life femdoms. There's something of the teen years feverishness about it all. Females suddenly become powerfully-magical creatures all over again. I'd say, don't let that take you over, if you do indeed get it.
It's taken me frigging years to work it out, but the ones who hit it off best with the opposite sex are the ones who can be friends with them. That applies in D/s, just as it does in vanilla.
