As well as ignorant on face, they will force Obama to raise the debt ceiling, offering offsetting cuts which they are NOT bound to honor, so they can say he is wildly spending and gain political capital with the already slobbering imbeciles. You do get that revenue doesn't appear by magic, right? You aren't going to "grow" your way into enough revenue to cover this. The gap is just too large. Wishful thinking and accounting are not synonymous.

As you WELL know by this point, I've been saying for a while that it will take BOTH spending cuts--including defense and entitlement reform--as well as raising taxes (doesn't matter which ones). You just don't have the numbers to support this ridiculous "kick the can" legislation. It's a sound-bite, not a debt reduction plan, and one the GOP knows has no prayer at that. You're a fool to parrot it, frankly. Get used to the debt--it's going up, and interest rates with it. And whether you know it or not--you're a supporter of exactly that.

The direction of the administration GUARANTEES inflation and higher interest rates, but it isnt inevitable for the long term. It is for the short term, and how quickly we move to get rid of Obama will determine how short that term is.
