Some might remember Oregon Congressman David Wu from stories that surfaced of unstable behavior a few months back.  It looks like he wasn't just a harmless sort of kooky guy.

News reports said the young woman is the daughter of a campaign donor and high school friend of the seven-term Congressman.

The unnamed accuser is from Orange County, California and graduated from high school in 2010, the Oregonian newspaper reported.

If he was a con he`d be getting a show on fox or at least time for his daughter on fox, to defend him.Like dick`s daughter.


Things like this will happen with any group.That`s a given.

What sets the men apart from the boys is how the leadership handles it.

Seriously folks, it's a completely safe seat for a liberal Democrat.  It's ok to respond to this character without in any way offering any support for Republicans.  That is the highest priority, when it comes to these pesky "ethics" things, right?

I dont thinkthats the issue , WIlbur posted it, then had to change it because she wasnt a minor.
SO excuse me for not jumping till al the facts are out.
if he assaulted her he deserves whatever he gets, let him be arrested and jailed.
But sorry, until then... its just bias confirmation

wilbur has never been strong on facts. I don't recall him ever being right, not ever, not once. His posts are all absurd.

It is all going to come down to what exactly is "aggressive and unwanted sexual behavior?"

I am fairly confident that more than one red blooded, patriotic, Republican American has been guilty of towing this line at some point in his dating past.

He's admitted the encounter took place, Lucy, but insists it was consensual.  With his earlier incidents, that raises serious question about where his judgement might have been in the process of getting her into bed (or bent over a bathroom sink, or whatever the specifics might be).

I think his judgement has been off for a long time Rich
personally I would like to teach him a lesson about consensual and age aprropriate encounters
however, it certainly would not be worth the jail time

Would love to have that "talk" with Ted Nugent.

As I recall,there was evidence that Denny Hastert knew about Mark Foley`s preying on youngsters, more that a year before it became public knowledge.

Why the double standard?
