FR By way of an answer I offer the following quote : "Religion is the sigh of the oppressed creature, the heart of a heartless world, and the soul of soulless conditions. It is the opium of the people. The abolition of religion as the illusory happiness of the people is the demand for their real happiness. To call on them to give up their illusions about their condition is to call on them to give up a condition that requires illusions. The criticism of religion is, therefore, in embryo, the criticism of that vale of tears of which religion is the halo" Karl Marx And I offer this little story : Once when the missionary E. Stanley Jones met with Gandhi he asked him, “Mr. Gandhi, though you quote the words of Christ often, why is that you appear to so adamantly reject becoming his follower?” Gandhi replied, “Oh, I don’t reject your Christ. I love your Christ. It’s just that so many of you Christians are so unlike your Christ.” There you go two reasons "God(s)" and Church are not one and the same, I have many more but being the militant apatheist I am I'll leave it at those two" Religulously, Some Knucklehead in NJ P.S. Fro the edification of those not familiar with the term, APATHEIST, can best be defined as "Don't know, Don't give a shit"
