Nos - We'd love to see some of your work when you get some time, that is if you'd like to post any of it.  It would be great to have a look, thanks for the reply [:D][:D]

I came up with a couple links:

https://shop.jonrhus.com/index.php This site normally (looks like it's under construction) has my favorite collar made by highland metals, they do a lot of ren festivals.

Wow, so many sites, thanks a lot everyone!

Those ones on bondagecollars.com are gorgeous, I didn't know there were collars made that were so beautiful...and inconspicuous that people would think they were just realy thick and ornate necklaces...maybe I *could* have a collar I'd wear daily.  Till now, I thought it would just have to be this necklace he gave me, figured all collars looked collar-ish or were made of stell rather than gold, and I just wear gold.

I'll be in time out for a month now for telling him I hadn't seen gold ones therefore they mustn't exist [:-] lol

Thanks again for all the help, I didn't see 3/4 of these sites when I googled slave collars, happy I decided to try out a question on here [:D][:D]

The leather cellar makes some with nice whip lacing...you can request normal, or locking buckles.  Also if you see a picture of a collar on someone that you like...ask them.  Many people I know have collars made for them.  I've designed and made custom collars myself....just remember that custom stuff can be/is usually more expensive...but it is more personal and unique.

Thanks Koneko, we usually don't stick around very long, so we haven't really gotten to see what the good people of CM have to offer in profiles, but we've skimmed everyone's who replied here and seen some nice looking ones, so it's a great idea.

We'll peruse some more as time permits, and I'll check out the leather cellar and see if I can google up a website, thanks again!

wiibemyslave -> RE: Real LOCKING Collar? (5/24/2006 2:02:49 PM)

I am having the same problem finding a collar that locks without having an actual lock hanging from it but this site www.bondagecollars.com/ have collars that have one way screws, that once in can only be removed with a very special tool that cannot be found in a home depot.

LadyHugs -> RE: Real LOCKING Collar? (5/24/2006 9:58:05 PM)

Dear timeoutgurlie, Ladies and Gentlemen;

Sounds like what we use to use years ago.  It was actually an Irish keeper for horse reins, as not to fly over a horse's head.  It is like a 0====0, it is a strap of leather sewn to two machine rings. You can find them in most steeplechase racing tack catalogs.  I'm not positive if American Huntsman catalogs have it.  If you go into a tack shop, it would be in the area of breast plates and tie downs.  You may also find it in tack catalogs for Standardbred "Trotting" race horses.  Again, it keeps the reins from passing over their head if they toss their head a lot.

Respectfully submitted for consideration,
Lady Hugs

HoosierScorpio -> RE: Real LOCKING Collar? (5/27/2006 8:21:04 PM)

I know there are not allot of locking collars that look normal. I made my own locking collar for the last girl I trained. It was custom made to her nick size and I could lock it. She had long hair and when she had the collar on and locked you could not see under her hair.

timeoutgurlie -> RE: Real LOCKING Collar? (5/29/2006 11:21:52 AM)

wii, best luck finding what you're looking for, thanks for the link [:D][:D]

Lady, thanks a lot for the suggestion, I never would have thought of something other than a site/shoppe that specifically makes collars for people, that's great info there, hope others see it too [:D][:D]

Hoosier, thanks for the reply [:D][:D]

GrizzlyBear -> RE: Real LOCKING Collar? (5/29/2006 3:19:50 PM)

I make collars with locking buckles, in many different styles.   They use standard luggage size padlocks.  If you don't see what you want here, then I can make something just for you.    http://geocities.com/bear59801
If all you want is a leather strap with a ring on each end, that would be very simple and inexpensive.

What W/we're looking for would be a collar that's most likely leather, and has a ring of some kind on each end, then they'd meet at the front of the neck and have a lock (not sure what the lock type is called, the kind that's like a metal box with a half ring/hoop at the top that snaps shut) that would be put through both rings and that lock would keep the collar on.Sir/gurlie

You're looking for a leather collar that will padlock in the front.

Try this: http://www.leathercellar.com/woven1.html#1

You could easily pick whatever specific padlock you wish.  I'm sure you have a Lowes or Home Depot down the street.

Which one -- there are 16 on that page, and not a single one of them are ones with the collar ends holding rings that lock in the front.  Or perhaps that didn't link to the right page?

timeoutgurlie -> RE: Real LOCKING Collar? (6/4/2006 11:56:02 AM)

I thought the same at first glance Ms, but then when I clicked to see the larger images, the first (steel one, black guy's wearing it) one does connect in the centre with a place to put the lock http://www.extremerestraints.com/steel-slave-collar_121.html

Thanks for that fella, seeing it gave me naughty thoughts, that's a good sign, well done lol [:D][:D]

PAVANE -> RE: Real LOCKING Collar? (6/4/2006 12:00:10 PM)

hi, would this be of any help? just get a length of chain, loop it round the neck and padlock the 2 ends together. if its long enough u can have a spare link at the padlock which can b used to clip a leads spring hook onto.
and its certainly a unambigous statement!

marieToo -> RE: Real LOCKING Collar? (6/4/2006 12:19:54 PM)

Just a thought about collars with real locks on them (especially ones made of steel).  I guess someone has already covered this but I cant help but mention the possible dangers if this is to be worn as an everyday collar.  Imagine having to remove it in the case of an accident or the person needing some type of medical attention to their neck or throat area.

As an alternative, you could always choose something with a clasp of some sort and hang a lock *pendant* on it. (Not the same feeling, I know)  but something to think about.
