They are, by most of what is called respectable science these days. At least, that's the case in the social sciences and here in the UK. Though, it's been a while for me, too - I haven't lectured in them for a few years now. ;-)

why does it matter

men and women are good at different things

for example most Pharaohs were male, some were female had to dress as men

some women are genuises some men are

we need each other we compliment each other

stands to reason

i am male and no nothing bout fixing cars so if i wanted a mechanic do you honestly believe id give two hoots about the sex of the mechanic

and what about transgendered are they better as women who become men

or men who become women

Good question. Probably because some women can't get through their lives without mewling triumphantly about how much better than men they are, just as some men can't handle their lives without barking frequently about how much better they are than women. And, of course, it sells books by mediocre researchers, and newspapers by pisspoor newspaper publishers.

Well, everyone's gotta earn a living somehow, eh?
